Biography
Prior to the UCSF Surgical and Critical Care NP Fellowship program, Sherry worked as a RN for 6 years on the liver transplant surgical unit at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout her time at UCLA, Sherry took on many leadership positions including Unit Practice Council Co-Chair, new staff and student nurse preceptor, and charge nurse. In 2022, Sherry graduated with her MSN from the UCLA School of Nursing and became board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Sherry is excited to be joining the UCSF family and is looking forward to the year ahead as a Surgical and Critical Care NP fellow.
