Anu Tharoor graduated from UCSF with an MS, and is board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. Prior to her career as an NP, Anu worked as an RN in the intensive care unit. Her professional interests include neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, transplant surgery, and critical care.
